She shared these reflections: “Tome, Mrs. McLeod was a formidable teacher and lover of English, grammar, Shakespeare, Latin, the value and importance of the written word, and the weight, specificity, and depth of imagination they bring to the reader. She taught me to be a sharp and attentive listener and to be a curious and disciplined student and learner – a skill worth its weight in gold across all industries. I will never forget the joy with which she led us through Macbeth in our Grade 9 English class. She taught students English and Latin, yes – but she taught me somuchmore than that!”

Susanne (Murray) Gauthier ’84 is pleased to share some exciting news: the publication of her first book. Ali is the project coordinator on the Canadian iteration of the project that is focusedongathering stories about LGBTQ+ sexuality and gender in high schools.
